With the increasing number of products in the Clif Bar family, a new company identity or “tool box” of brand elements were created to bring consistency to the Clif Bar and Clif Bar sub-brands. The new look and feel was applied across all marketing channels— packaging, trade collateral, advertising, website, event signage as well as all company vans and sports wear.

Similar to the challenges of Clif Bar, Luna Bar packaging needed a refresh— the old packaging lacked shelf presence and flavor identification. The new design simplified the Luna logo, made the graphic elements bolder and brighter. Larger flavor bands and flavor names allowed consumers to quickly identify the flavor offerings. Luna also was challenged with the increasing number of products in its family. A “tool box” of brand elements were applied across all product extensions and their marketing channels to bring consistency to the Luna brand.
